Although participants are responsible for securing their own internships, the Program uses its reputation and extensive network of contacts to assist students in obtaining internships. The Sanford School’s International Career Advisor works with accepted program participants to define internship goals, review cover letters, resumes and writing samples, facilitate application submission, and prepare participants for their internships.

For supervisors: the Duke Program on Global Policy and Governance offers organizations an opportunity to review applications from highly qualified students from masters, PhD, and MD programs around the United States. Because the program chooses participants through a highly selective application process, we can guarantee a strong pool of candidates to consider for projects during the summer.
