Course Tracks

The Program on Global Policy and Governance offers participants a choice of one of four week long intensive courses on key topics of international affairs.

Each of these seminars includes discussions with top experts, visits to leading organizations in the field, and practical exercises or policy simulations. Through presentations on current affairs, institutional mandates, and Geneva realpolitik from senior officials and other specialists, participants develop a deeper understanding of the issues that interest them most.

Course-Only Option

Humanitarian Assistance Course DiscussionFor summer 2012, the program will offer students the option of directly enrolling in one or more of the intensive weeklong courses for academic credit (without the internship component of the program). Completion of one weeklong intensive course with an associated research project submitted to the course instructor by August 1, 2012 will enable the student to earn 2.0 credits through the Duke University Graduate School. The tuition for one week long (2.0 credit) course is $2000. We will begin accepting applications for the course-only option in January 2012. Please check back for more details at that time.
