The Duke Center for International Development (DCID) is an interdisciplinary training, advisory, and research unit offering cutting-edge graduate degree and executive education programs in international development policy. DCID is a unit within Duke University's Sanford School of Public Policy.

Durham, North Carolina
Known as the "City of Medicine," Durham is a city with vibrant research, medical, and arts communities. It is a place where people of diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds come together as a colorful, colorful, creative, and entrepreneurial community. The nearby Research Triangle Park is home to many multinational corporations such as IBM/Lenovo, GlaxoSmithKline, Quintiles, and Ericsson. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the National Institute of Environmental Health Science have large offices there, as do nongovernmental organizations such as Research Triangle Institute and Family Health International.
Durham has become a hub of fine arts and entertainment with the American Dance Festival, Duke's Nasher Museum and Duke Performances series, and the Durham Performing Arts Center.
