Zezza is the CEO and Business Head for Asia for Horizon Asset Holdings, an Asia-focused investment management company. He has more than 25 years of experience in finance and has lived and worked outside the United States for more than 18 years.
Prior to Horizon, Zezza was a Senior Managing Director and member of the Executive Committee at Citadel Investment Group in Chicago and London. During his tenure there he managed large parts of the firm’s foreign exchange, fixed income, derivatives, and emerging markets trading businesses. From 2001 to 2004, Zezza was a Global Head of Emerging Markets and a Member of the Management Committee at Deutsche Bank. Based in London, he was responsible for the firm’s emerging markets businesses across Latin America, Eastern Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia. Prior to London, Zezza worked in Asia for eleven years as Head of Deutsche Bank’s Global Markets businesses where he was responsible for the firm’s activities across capital markets, sales, and trading. He also spent ten years at Salomon Brothers in New York and Tokyo where he managed several of the firm’s trading businesses.
Zezza has sat on a number of boards and is presently a partner and board member of a private equity venture firm focused on investments across Indochina. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Duke with undergraduate studies in economics and public policy, and was a four-year letterman in lacrosse. He currently resides in London and is married to Diane Stewart. They have two young children, Natalie and Nico.
