Kathryn C. Lieb (A.B. ’69) and Richard B. Lieb (A.B. ’69), Valley Forge, PA.
The Liebs have been active volunteers for Duke for many years, most recently
serving as co-chairs for their 35th reunion committee. Mr. Lieb is a retired
executive vice president of SEI Investments, where he spent most of his career,
and still serves on its board of directors, along with the boards of several
other public and private organizations. He received a master’s degree
from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania following his service
as a U.S. Marine in Vietnam. Mrs. Lieb, who retired as editor of periodicals
for the American Society for Testing and Materials to raise a family, volunteers
as an ESL tutor and for several community groups as well. They are the parents
of three children, including one Duke graduate (Suzanne, BS ’03).
